Blog assignment #40

Ah blogs, its the one thing everyone tends to think about whenever someone else mentions journalism. They help us, they hurt us, they're updated daily, blogs are a part of our life. If it were not for blogs, everyone would probably fail the class. This blog is for you Ms. Melancon. I hope you like it.

Now when it comes down to it, blogs are an essential part of our grade in journalism. Whether it be yearbook or newspaper, everyone sits there staring at their computer wondering why in the world the blog seems to take forever. It may just be that we're too lazy to do anything, nah, that can't be it. But truth is, most blog assignments take either a whole hour, or more to do. This is not an easy task seeing we already have other stuff to do in other classes. The thought of doing blogs at home is simply preposterous.

No one wants to do homework at home. Yea it's called homework, but doing homework actually takes away time from our day. Time we could be using for other things, like projects we have in English or other subjects. Doing blog after blog after blog is just tiring. Not to say that its all bad, I mean some are fun. Most of them are fun and creative, they just take so long and by the time anyone is finished over half the day seems to be gone. This is causing the youth of America to become slow and lethargic in their thinking, this leads to poor grades and even angrier parents. (not that your to blame, im just saying just saying it to say it)

If no one does anything about the blogs, students fail and privileges are taken away thus creating a tiny home prison for the student. However, if one does try to attempt to do a blog assignments they spend over half the day looking for things that they think pertain to the subject at hand. Its not always easy to find pictures, Google isn't always reliable. But that is neither here nor there, because the fact of the matter is that blog assignments are here to "help".

So with all that said its safe to say that most students hate doing blogs on a daily basis. It would be much more comfortable to do one, every other day, or once maybe twice a week. The pain and agony of the children are depending on it. Thats pretty much it.
